We are a team of professionals who design projects from an integral perspective. Our practice encompasses a wide spectrum of projects of various types and scales, ranging from houses, apartment buildings, offices and retail spaces, among others, to large urban projects and masterplans. For us here at RTN, each project is unique, and is treated as such, after a detailed analysis of its potential and particular requirements.

Our approach to the details of each project is always specific. Nevertheless, there are certain variables, mainly processes, that share a common denominator and are independent of the scale, whether applied to a house or to a Masterplan.

We start out by understanding all aspects of the project setting; its location and history, its geographic, cultural, and social conditions. We then focus on the features of the lot itself; physical orientation, neighbors, existing flora, visual aspects, history, as well as its planimetric characteristics.

With this initial information, we delve into the project in order to grasp the always complex interactions that arise from the program of requirements provided by the client.

Once the dimension of the scale has been defined, and the data crisscrossed, a synergetic process of ideas and their possible geometric framework commences. However analytic and rational this process may be, the ideas do not always arise in a linear fashion, but often spontaneously, and may stem from unforeseeable variables.

We strive to make the projects authentic and original; to be a fitting response to all the variables analyzed, whose resulting “fingerprint” is unique and unrepeatable. Furthermore, the projects must correspond to the historical moment of its making, finding answers to the demands of our times.
